Exhibition: Finger Pointing Racism!

From March 1st to 31st, 2010

How can we deal with racism without falling into exageration? How can satirical cartooning serve the struggle against all forms of racism and intolerence? This is the challenge that Images Interculturelles wished to take up with Finger Pointing Racism! The 2005 international exhibition gathers 69 cartoons from 22 Canadian cartoonists and 26 from France, Russia, Germany, Croatia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Cuba. They publish every day in newspapers and magazines throughout the world: La Presse, The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, L'Actualité, El Pais, The Economist, The Irish Times, The New York Times, The Guardian.

Images Interculturelles extends its warmful thanks to the 48 cartoonists who agreed to contribute to the exhibition project.
